About The Owner

Hi! I am Natalia.

Over 20 years ago, I arrived in the U.S. with a degree in Philology, little English, and a drive to create something meaningful. A high score on a placement test led me to accounting, and I went on to earn both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.

I began my career at KPMG. And as much as I valued the experience, I realized my heart was with business owners—real people building something meaningful.

I went on to run an IT company for over a decade while quietly supporting fellow entrepreneurs with their books. That behind-the-scenes work brought me the greatest fulfillment—and eventually inspired me to launch RA Focus Bookkeeping.

To me, bookkeeping is part art and part meditation. I absolutely love it!

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my husband and our son—who speaks five languages, plays chess, and codes like a future innovator. I also love walking on the beach, ballroom dancing, and cooking. 

In 2020, I was honored to be named Mrs. Russian America—a reminder of the power of embracing every part of who you are.
